While I log in log out

While I log in log out I have many thoughts during these process. I work for a call centre based in Mumbai. We live in very tight schedule about our working ours. Chalta hai stuff is not entertained here. I was not very much punctual always but a bit lazy initially when I joined the BPO sector. It's been More Than 3 years I am working in this industry where I don't consider myself new to this culture. Yeah, obvious none of the normal people I know behaves otherwise.

following are most common activities one could see & experience who works in call centres.


Log out - call places like local bar i.e: Khancha (south Indian Bar Buddies like captain etc.) normally those who go regularly have everyone's number it's give & take after all. This is to confirm whether tables are available & to check out the police round ups which are normal. Ahem remember when it was raided once we ran with chicken lolly pop in one hand & our quarter on the other hand cause it happens at times. This is from 2:30am - 6:30am these places are open.


5D - This is the place where you'll get Chinese, south Indian food plus chai, coffee, juice 24*7. Adding to this if you want to buy some cheap Music CD'S & DVD'S they have those guys sitting here as well almost 365 days. Cigarettes & other related stuff is also available not to mentioned large number of young people hanging around with friend's around this area.


Venkat Anna's cycle with coffee, bournvita, idli & cigarettes are available all night long & he also gives quick update about sports to those who knows him.


Asking every one from which process? Is the most common when you meet your long lost friend which happens to me quite often as well.

Sports & other Rewards & recognition functions.

First 2 weeks we are king of the world & next two weeks are on credit/begging that's how it works, few of our drinking buddies are like life time members on few lounges/bar/pubs you'll always find them irrespective.

Fights with security guards when they try to behave funny at times.

Uudharri ki chai (Tea On credit) from cafeteria & cigarettes from smoke zone is very common & easy way to make friends.

Car pool to office.

Share same auto till office cause we know almost everyone from housekeeping to Head-of-the-department.

Asking sharing borrowing CD's , DVD's & books from friends.

Watching match at the cafeteria is the best we are like more than 500 people staring at giant screen. English premier, UEFA, Spanish, F1, Cricket, IPL Cricket, T20, Tennis & many more.

Early morning show every Saturday @ Inorbit Mall

Waiting for home transport after checking the list who's getting in which number vehicle.

One could easily find a cold war at time while we go home by cabs many who wants to get down first & there are 6 different people from other processes poor driver gets smashed into this cold war but this is very rare but it happens for sure.
