Drinking with stranger was so much of fun back then and it's fun now too but when you get up next morning you'll wonder why with a stranger and not with someone whom i know or someone who knows me??? If you can go back to flashback and jot down the things which you have shared with that person you'll be amazed. Bombay is the place which is compared with many world class cities because of the life how we live here. If you think i am going to boast about Bombay than you are not wrong but partially right. It's not a very clean place but it's not totally all slum-dog. It's beyond it. We have rich and the famous just like any place. They have come from every where nationally and internationally. Some have worked hard some have found opportunities and they have never looked back. we celebrate many festivals irrespective of our very own religion. Cosmopolitan city in most respect. Cabwallahs are not as painful as you'll find in any of the other city. Delhi tops the chart in greediness. The other day we were at Firangi Paani and met this two wannabes who were from Delhi. They were like dude what kind of music you guys play here in Mumbai??? I corrected him Bombay. Hhaaaa right. Not that great i said. Friend asked to one of those dude, " How about you what kind of music you like ? " He was like we play just Enrique Iglesias stuff you know about him?? Me and my friend we had this what are you talking expression. I was like who is he cricketer?? Dude found that silly and funny they gave each other good old high fives. Fucktards me and my friend were looking at each other. This was not all as we were leaving the place those two jokers walked slowly towards the elevator with the mexican hat in his hand which was from FP smiling at both of us. We were smiling back thinking they were drunk so we thought they are just being nice to us. Later when we turned back to check them they had disappeared. .
Just another bit which i would like to share is that lately i have been avoiding drinks with my colleagues yes i have kept that way now they know that i am ready with my not-so-famous no to most of the get together which is almost every other day. It comes with the price but i think it's worth. After all these years of experience i feel what i am doing now, i should have done this long time ago nonetheless it is all right finally i am doing it.
Festivals are going pretty fast and even though i have been staying in my city for years now i don't have any special day where we meet and enjoy the fest that was perhaps the phase in my life hope it comes back to me. I mean festivals which we have in this era are same but they have lost it's charm and excitement is bottled into materialistic elements. I feel bad about the generation who have missed the real taste of the festivals which used to happen back in those days roughly before the year 2000.
